On September 27, Dushanbe will host a free walking tour of the capital, called "A Walk Around Dushanbe," to celebrate World Tourism Day. The city's Tourism Development Department announced this.
According to the department, the initiative's goal is to develop the tourism industry, introduce residents and visitors to the city's history, culture, and landmarks, and attract foreign tourists to Dushanbe.
"The tour will be a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to the capital to explore Dushanbe's tourism potential. Participants will be presented with historical facts and cultural highlights of the city in Tajik, Russian, and English," noted the tourism development department.
The tour will begin at the Ismoili Somoni Monument and run from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM local time. Accompanied by professional guides, participants will visit the city's key landmarks. To create a festive atmosphere, the event will feature live music and performers.
