Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali left for the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the Third Interparliamentary Forum of Central Asian Countries.
According to the Tajik parliament, the forum will bring together representatives of the region's highest legislative bodies. Participants intend to discuss expanding interparliamentary cooperation, developing joint legislative initiatives, and issues of cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
Rustam Emomali is accompanied by the chairmen of the Majlisi Milli committees and other officials. A number of bilateral meetings with the heads of parliaments of Central Asian countries are also planned during the visit.
The Interparliamentary Forum of the states of the region is held with the aim of strengthening political dialogue, exchanging legislative experience, and promoting the development of integration processes.
