On September 16, a Tajik-Swiss business forum was held in Dushanbe. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Swiss Joint Chamber of Commerce for Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus, according to the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, Nasimjon Anvarov, participated in the forum. During a B2G meeting with Swiss entrepreneurs, he presented a presentation on the Chamber's activities, the country's investment opportunities, and current initiatives to support entrepreneurship and attract investment.
The signed Memorandum aims to develop mutually beneficial economic cooperation and promote trade ties and investment projects between Tajikistan and Switzerland. The parties noted the importance of continuing dialogue between business communities and exchanging experiences in business development.
The business forum served as a platform for discussing opportunities to expand cooperation in trade and economic matters, as well as for establishing direct contacts between companies from the two countries, thereby strengthening business ties and increasing Tajikistan's investment attractiveness.
