Tajikistan's Foreign Minister, Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin, participated in an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Arab states, which was held on September 14 in Doha at the initiative of Qatar. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was convened in response to the attack on the State of Qatar on September 9 of this year. Participants exchanged views on the incident and discussed current issues related to the situation in the Middle East.
"The heads of the foreign affairs agencies reviewed and approved the agenda and the text of the final document of the extraordinary Summit of Heads of State of the OIC and Arab States, which will be held on September 15 in Doha," the ministry noted.
In their final statement, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to joint action in the interests of security and stability in the region and expressed support for the State of Qatar.
