A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Khokim Kholikzoda, paid a working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic from August 25 to 29 to exchange experiences in digitalization and develop bilateral economic cooperation, according to the committee's press service.
The delegation also included Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, representing the innovation and digital technology sector.
During his visit to Bishkek, Khokim Kholikzoda met with Daniyar Amangeldiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The parties discussed expanding economic cooperation and implementing joint infrastructure and energy projects, including the CASA-1000 project. Kyrgyzstan expressed its willingness to share its experience in digitalizing public administration and increase mutual trade with Tajikistan.
The Tajik delegation visited the Kyzmat state institution, where they learned about a number of digital projects, including the Safe City system, the Infodox electronic document management system, G-Cloud cloud solutions, and the Kyzmat-ID identification system. Facilities of Uchkun OJSC and Technopark were also visited.
Following the visit, the parties confirmed their willingness to continue exchanging experiences and deepening cooperation in the areas of digitalization, tax administration, public finance management, and tourism infrastructure development.
