In the city of Konibodom in Tajikistan's Sughd region, nearly 90 km of roads have been paved since the beginning of 2025. This was reported by the regional governor's press service.
Asphalt laying work began on Khodji Sodik Street, which is 1 km long and 6 m wide.
Local residents and entrepreneurs make a significant contribution to the improvement and repair of road infrastructure. According to authorities, they actively participate in cleanup days, assist with road cleaning and leveling, provide construction materials and equipment, and provide financial support.
Local authorities note that road construction continues, covering both the city's central streets and rural communities. The program aims to improve transport accessibility, enhance comfort for residents, and develop social infrastructure.
