Tolibzoda also noted that annual inflation in June of this year was 3.6%, which is within the target range set by the National Bank (5% ± 2 percentage points). This figure was 0.1 percentage points higher than the same period in 2024.
In his speech, the Chairman of the National Bank emphasized that in the first half of 2025, the regulator continued to implement monetary policy in accordance with industry legislation, the objectives outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the country's parliament, and the "Main Directions of Monetary Policy for 2025 and the Medium Term."
According to Tolibzoda, the implemented policies have ensured the sustainable development of the republic's financial and economic system, maintained macroeconomic stability, and created conditions to support business activity.
