The Representative Office of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation expressed gratitude to a group of Tajik citizens for their courage in rescuing a family on a reservoir in the Moscow region.
The ceremonial meeting with the heroes – Behruz Zikrilloev, Furkat Zikrilloev, Islomjon Saidov, Shakhboz Shodiev and Zafar Dostakzoda – took place on July 21.
As reported by the press service of the Representative Office, on July 12 in the Istra reservoir, five Tajik migrants without hesitation rushed to help a drowning family. As a result of coordinated and courageous actions, they saved five people, including three children.
For their bravery, sense of civic responsibility and high human qualities, Tajik citizens were awarded letters of gratitude. The agency representatives emphasized that such actions strengthen the positive image of the Tajik people abroad and serve as an example for the younger generation.
"Our citizens have repeatedly demonstrated heroism in extreme situations, helping others, sometimes risking their own lives. We are proud of them," the Representative Office noted.
It is noted that the assistance provided by Tajik migrants in Russia in emergency situations is highly appreciated by both local residents and official bodies of the Russian Federation. Some of them were awarded medals and honorary awards.
At the end of the event, the heroes were once again expressed their gratitude and presented with commemorative certificates.
