In the capital of Tajikistan, from July 23 to 25 of this year, traffic will be temporarily restricted on a number of central streets. This was reported by the Department of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe.
According to the department, the restrictions are being introduced in connection with cultural and public events.
Thus, on July 23 from 18:00 to 22:00 traffic will be temporarily stopped on the following sections: Sadriddin Aini, Mastongulov, Abuali ibni Sino (A. Donish) streets, as well as Rudaki Avenue.
On July 24, the restrictions will affect Rudaki and Ismoili Somoni avenues, as well as Tekhron and Sheroz streets.
On July 25, traffic will be restricted on Rudaki Avenue, Sadriddin Aini Street in the direction of Vahdat, and from the Chorbog checkpoint in the direction of Varzob. Temporary restrictions will be in effect at different times of the day.
The Dushanbe City Police Department calls on drivers to plan their routes in advance, use alternative roads and refrain from parking vehicles in the designated areas.
The measures are aimed at ensuring security and the smooth conduct of the planned events, the administration emphasized.
