On July 17, in Dushanbe, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Chairman of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in and spoke at an expanded meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, the press service of the head of state reported.

The meeting discussed the issue of expanding the activities of the party organization to properly celebrate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During his speech, the Chairman of the party Emomali Rahmon emphasized that 2025 is another important political and historical year for Tajikistan and its glorious people.

It was noted that at the beginning of the year, an important political campaign took place at a high organizational level – the elections of deputies to the Majlisi Namoyandagon and local Majlises. The level and quality of this event, the active participation of people in it once again clearly demonstrated the formation of a political culture and the growth of patriotic feelings of the country's citizens.

The head of state noted that the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, along with other political parties, actively participated in this political event.

The party chairman noted: "From the first days of its foundation, our party has paid primary attention to issues of peace and tranquility, national unity and the involvement of the population in creation. In this process, many scientifically sound and realistically implemented programs were developed, adopted and successfully implemented, meeting the interests of national statehood and the people of the country, as evidenced by the results achieved to date in the areas of political stability in the country and the socio-economic development of the country."

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon stated that issues of educating citizens, especially young people, ideas of peace and national unity should continue to remain the focus of the party and its local structures.

It was emphasized that the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, as a driving force in the socio-economic development of the country, also plays a key role, its activities are clearly felt in the implementation of state strategies and programs and increasing the level of well-being of the people.

Emomali Rahmon recalled the problems of the present time and the unprecedented tension of unfavorable political and military processes on the planet – confrontations and conflicts, rapid armament, the "cold war", rapid climate change and its adverse consequences, and noted that this situation requires each of us to take a responsible and serious approach to solving emerging problems.

Today, the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan has a primary organization in 7,336 state structures, industrial enterprises, organizations and institutions, through which it implements creative programs.

During the extended meeting of the Central Executive Committee, based on the Charter of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, the party charters were approved in a new edition.

The apparatus of the Central Executive Committee and its structures were instructed to bring party activities into line with the provisions of the said acts.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the party Emomali Rahmon defined the activities of the party structures for the past period and the tasks for the future.

The executive committees of the party were instructed to intensify activities to expand national self-awareness, the people's sense of patriotism, and to increase the political and legal education of the country's population, especially teenagers and young people. To systematically protect national and state interests, to organize work with the people in such a way that every citizen of the country would consider himself responsible in the process of statehood, would deeply understand the nature and purpose of the dangers threatening our statehood, its independence and freedom, and would be able to independently determine and specify his task in implementing the goals of the state and the Government of the country. In constant cooperation with local executive bodies of state power, law enforcement agencies, committees on youth and sports, women and family, religion and the regulation of celebrations and rituals, the ministries of education and science, health care and social protection of the population, culture, labor, migration and employment of the population, agriculture and defense, on a permanent and comprehensive basis, to organize propaganda activities in villages and populated areas.

At the same time, all party organizations have been instructed to intensify propaganda work in the direction of implementing the program goals of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan and, in implementing the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Patriotic Education of Citizens", to direct constant and joint cooperation with all subjects of patriotic education to strengthen the foundations of national statehood by protecting national interests and increasing trust in the state system.

Chairman of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon emphasized that, in addition to conducting propaganda work, responsible persons need to develop a plan for constructive work and, with the involvement of residents, intensify work on improvement at the local level in the name of a worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of State independence.

After the speech of the Chairman of the party, Nematzoda Dilrabo, head of the sector of the analytical and information center of the Central Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, Shohinzoda Ansor, chairman of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Roshtkala district, Rakhimov Temur, laureate of the Olympic Games, Karimzoda Munira, chief physician of the children's infectious diseases clinical hospital of the city of Dushanbe, Khofizoda Farzona, head of the sector for women and family affairs of the city of Bustan, and Sadulloev Dilovar, teacher of English at the general education institution No. 8 of the Dangara district, spoke.
