In the first half of 2026, Tajikistan's economic courts granted claims for damages totaling 208.6 million somoni . The Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Tajikistan announced this today at a press conference summarizing its results for the first half of the year.
According to the court, during the reporting period, claims for damages totaling 253.1 million somoni were filed in economic courts. Following the review of the cases, the courts upheld claims for 208.6 million somoni .
In addition, in the cases considered, a state fee in the amount of 4.78 million somoni was collected for the benefit of the state.
As noted by the Supreme Economic Court, the consideration of such disputes is aimed at protecting the property rights of economic participants, ensuring the rule of law in the economic sphere, and strengthening legal guarantees for entrepreneurs and investors.
