The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan continues to expand its international presence. As of the first half of 2026, the number of its international representative offices has increased to 18, operating in 15 countries near and far. This was announced today by Chamber Chairman Farkhodshhoh Rahmonalizoda during a press conference summarizing the first half of 2026.
According to the Chamber, the representative offices' activities are aimed at developing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and foreign countries, as well as providing practical support to domestic entrepreneurs entering foreign markets.
Through foreign representative offices, Tajik companies have the opportunity to establish direct contacts with potential partners, participate in business negotiations, business missions, international exhibitions, and investment forums. Representative offices also provide informational support on business matters, assist in finding investors, and promote domestic goods and services abroad.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry notes that expanding the international network contributes to strengthening economic ties with foreign countries, increasing the country's export potential, and attracting new investment into Tajikistan's economy.
In the first half of the year, the leadership and staff of the Chamber's central and regional offices also held 192 working meetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps, foreign chambers of commerce and industry, financial institutions, international companies, entrepreneurs, and potential investors. During the talks, issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation, expansion of trade ties, and the implementation of joint projects were discussed.
