In 2022, Neill was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. The actor recently announced that he had beaten the disease. According to his family, his death was sudden.
Over the years, Sam Neill has played dozens of roles in film and television. He is best known for his role as Dr. Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park franchise. He also starred in The Hunt for Red October, Event Horizon, In the Mouth of Madness, Dead Calm, The Piano, and others.
