On July 10, Tajik Interior Minister and Police Colonel General Ramazon Rahimzoda held a meeting with leaders and representatives of Tajik compatriots' societies living abroad. The meeting participants are also members of the Council of Compatriots Living Abroad, which is part of the Public Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the ministry's press service reported.
At the beginning of the event, it was noted that, thanks to the state's policies, Tajikistan has achieved significant results in its creative and sustainable development. It was also emphasized that the country is preparing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its independence, and improvement and development work continues in all regions.






Representatives of the Tajik diaspora living in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the meeting. The parties discussed strengthening cooperation with their compatriots, their participation in events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence, and promoting the republic's achievements abroad.
In an open and friendly atmosphere, participants exchanged views on migration, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of migrant workers, strengthening interaction between government agencies and the Tajik diaspora, and further expanding cooperation.
Following the meeting, confidence was expressed in the continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation and the active participation of compatriots in strengthening national unity, developing society, and representing the Republic of Tajikistan abroad.
