The Tajik feature film "Mohi Dar Shast" received two awards and a diploma at the 21st International Film Festival "In the Family Circle," which was held in Yaroslavl.
The film participated in the main feature film competition and competed with 11 films from Puerto Rico, the Philippines, France, Germany, Russia, India, Belarus, Iran and Kazakhstan.
Young actor Abdullo Rahimzoda won the award for Best Actor. The film also received a nomination for Best Sound Design and a diploma for Best Soundtrack.
The main roles in the film were played by Khurshed Mustafoev, Abdullo Rakhimzoda, Sayyora Safari, Isfandiyor Gulomzoda, Mokhpaykar Yorova and Shahlo Rahimi.


Filming took place in various regions of Tajikistan, from Buston to Muminabad, including Penjikent, Ayni, and Vahdat.
The film's creators acknowledged the contributions of the large creative team, as well as the support of residents of Tajikistan's cities and villages during the filming process. Special thanks were extended to Tajikfilm Director Mahmadsaid Shohiyon and director Valeriy Akhadov.
After the film's screening in Yaroslavl, Russian audiences praised the film, its acting, and the portrayal of Tajikistan.
The festival also included a meeting with acting students from Yaroslavl University. Participants learned about the Tajik acting school, the specifics of film production in Tajikistan, and working on a film set.
According to the film's creators, participation in Russian film festivals is particularly important for promoting Tajik cinema and introducing the culture, nature, and life of the Tajik people to foreign audiences.
