The Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has implemented the EcoDoc electronic internal document management system. This was announced on July 9 at a press conference summarizing the agency's performance for the first half of 2026.
According to the Committee, the electronic system began to be used in March of this year and is designed to digitalize the internal exchange of documents and reports.
The implementation of EcoDoc enables the digitalization of internal departmental document flow processes. The system covers the exchange of official documents and reports.
As noted at the press conference, digitalization has become one of the Committee's areas of work in the first half of 2026.
At the same time, the agency continued its work within the framework of state environmental policy, the implementation of national programs, and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
In the first half of the year, at the Committee’s suggestion, four resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and three sectoral orders were adopted.
Adaptation to climate change and the implementation of strategic documents in the field of environmental protection also remain one of the agency's priority areas of activity.
