The National Museum of Tajikistan has organized a traveling museum exhibition in the Tajikabad district, "Reflection of Water and Glaciers in the Works of Tajik Artists." The exhibition will be open until July 10, the museum announced.
The main goal of the exhibition is to present historical and cultural values and promote environmental education.
The exhibition also highlights the international initiatives of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in the areas of water resource conservation, climate change mitigation, and glacier protection.
The director of the National Museum of Tajikistan, Zafarsho Ibrohimzoda, spoke at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.
He emphasized the historical and international significance of Emomali Rahmon's initiatives in the area of water resource protection and the fight against climate change.
Particular attention was paid to issues of rational use of water resources, protection of glaciers and strengthening international cooperation in solving global environmental problems.
