A pilot version of the "Unified Utility Payment" utility payment system is being launched in Dushanbe's Sino district. The new system will consolidate charges for several utilities into a single bill, allowing residents to pay them all in a single payment, NIAT KHOVAR reported.
Previously, residents had to pay for utilities using separate bills and different payment methods. After the launch of the new system, charges will be consolidated into a single personal account.
The "Unified Communal Payment" will cover expenses for electricity, water, heat, solid waste removal, and housing services. This format is expected to make the payment process more convenient, transparent, and understandable for residents.

Once charges are generated, residents will receive an SMS notification indicating the amount due and a link to the payment page. By clicking this link, users will be able to view their charges and pay their utility bills online in a single payment.
Initially, the system will operate in pilot mode in Dushanbe's Sino district. This launch will allow for testing its operation, establishing collaboration between utility companies, and collecting feedback from residents.
The project's main goal is to simplify the utility payment process, increase the transparency of charges, and introduce modern digital services for city residents. The system is also expected to reduce the number of individual payments and make utility payments more convenient and accessible.
