Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili. The talks took place on June 19, 2026, as part of the Georgian Prime Minister's official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the further development of Tajik-Georgian relations and considered promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening political dialogue, as well as expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The ministers also exchanged views on current issues on the international agenda that are of mutual interest to the two countries.
In addition, the parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation within the framework of international organizations, including the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and became part of the program of the Georgian delegation's official visit to Tajikistan.
