Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda participated in and spoke at the International Conference on Strengthening Cultural Ties and Developing Creative Spheres, which took place on June 18 in St. Petersburg, Russia, as reported by NIAT Khovar.
During the conference, participants discussed the current state and prospects for developing international cooperation in cultural ties. Particular attention was paid to preserving shared historical heritage, strengthening humanitarian cooperation, expanding interstate dialogue, and developing modern cooperation mechanisms.
Addressing the event's participants, Kokhir Rasulzoda noted that the countries are bound by shared values, a long history, mutual respect, and a caring attitude toward each other's traditions.


The Prime Minister emphasized that in the modern world, culture and art are increasingly viewed not only as an important part of society's spiritual life but also as a significant tool for sustainable economic development and social cohesion. In this regard, he stated, strengthening cooperation between states within the Commonwealth of Independent States is particularly urgent.
In his speech, the head of government also stated that Tajikistan places special emphasis on preserving and developing its national culture. He stated that the country's cultural sector is currently experiencing a period of intensive development.
Kokhir Rasulzoda noted that Tajikistan consistently supports the expansion of international cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian spheres, prioritizes the development of friendly relations and good-neighborliness with other countries, and is always open to cultural exchange and strengthening mutual understanding between peoples.
