On June 17, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, as part of a working visit to Tashkent, participated in and spoke at the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
During his speech, the Prime Minister noted the importance of holding the forum for developing cooperation in entrepreneurship and investment. He stated that the joint efforts of the states are aimed at creating favorable conditions for sustainable economic development, expanding interregional partnerships, and developing new investment opportunities.
Kokhir Rasulzoda emphasized that more than 110 enterprises with Uzbek capital are currently operating in Tajikistan. Meanwhile, the number of companies operating with Tajik capital in Uzbekistan has exceeded 400.
Presenting the country's investment opportunities, the Prime Minister noted that the provision of tax and customs incentives, the creation of free economic zones, ongoing support for the private sector, the introduction of modern technologies, and the expansion of industrial production have contributed to the development of the republic's socio-economic sectors.


During the speech, it was also noted that by the end of 2025, the volume of foreign investment attracted to the Tajik economy exceeded $7 billion. This figure was 35 percent higher than the 2024 level.
In addition, the Prime Minister reported that 82 investment projects are currently being implemented in the country.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the Republic of Tajikistan is open to fruitful cooperation with financial and investment organizations, as well as with representatives of the business and trade communities.
