To strengthen public order, prevent crime, increase accountability, and encourage the work of district police officers in Dushanbe, a "Best District Police Officer" competition is held at the end of each month. The three most active and exemplary officers are selected based on the results, according to the press service of the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.
Based on the performance results for May 2026, the competition's organizing committee, taking into account the employees' performance indicators, their level of interaction with the public, their contribution to crime prevention, consideration of citizens' appeals, and maintaining public order, determined the competition winners.
Senior Lieutenant Mirzozoda Muslim, a district inspector with the Sino District Department of Internal Affairs (ODVD-1), was recognized as the best district inspector for the month.
Senior police lieutenant Rajabzoda Mehrodzhiddin, a district inspector with OMVD-2 in the Shokhmansur district, was also among the winners.
The third winner of the competition was Senior Police Lieutenant Melizoda Jamshed, a district inspector at OMVD-1 in the Firdavsi district.
The competition winners were formally awarded by the capital's police leadership. They were presented with Certificates of Honor and commemorative gifts.
