Tajikistan national team captain Akhtam Nazarov made national football history by becoming the first player to play 100 matches for the national team. The defender's milestone came in a friendly match against India, which ended 1-1, according to the Tajikistan Football Federation.
Before the match, a ceremony honoring the footballer took place. In honor of his historic achievement, Akhtam Nazarov was presented with a commemorative national team jersey with the number 100.
