In the Murghab district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, ahead of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence, the first wind power plant with a capacity of 200 kW is planned to be commissioned.
At the same time, Pamir Energy intends to launch seven more new solar power plants with a total capacity of 540 kW.

As noted, the projects are being implemented within the framework of the Rural Electrification program with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank.
According to the company, 22 solar power plants with a total capacity of 13 MW have already been built in remote settlements of the Murghab district.

Pamir Energy emphasizes that the implementation of these projects is crucial for the development of renewable energy, strengthening energy security, supporting the green economy, and providing residents of mountainous regions with a reliable electricity supply.
