During a working visit to Kulob, Khatlon Region Governor Davlatali Said inspected the progress of restoration work in the mahallas affected by the natural disaster, as well as the implementation of several infrastructure projects. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon Region Governor.
The regional governor visited the construction sites of residential buildings for affected families and instructed them to ensure high-quality work in accordance with building codes and modern requirements. He emphasized the need to complete housing restoration within the established timeframe.
During his visit, Davlatali Said also inspected the ongoing renovation and restoration work at the Kulyab Arena stadium and gave additional instructions to ensure the project's timely completion.


The regional governor also visited a six-kilometer section of the road where asphalt work is underway. Responsible officials were given recommendations on improving the quality of road construction and bringing the site into compliance with established requirements.
As noted, improvement and construction work continues in Kulyab in preparation for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence.


According to local authorities, from the first days after the natural disaster, the republic's government provided comprehensive assistance to affected families and took measures to eliminate the consequences of the emergency. Residents are currently restoring their homes and outbuildings.






Construction work at most sites is reportedly ongoing around the clock, with the involvement of local specialists. The Khatlon regional government, together with relevant agencies, is continuously monitoring the progress of restoration efforts.
According to available data, more than ten mahallas in the city of Kulyab suffered varying degrees of damage as a result of the natural disaster. Restoration work is planned to be completed within the established timeframe.
