Police officers detained two residents of the Rudaki district on suspicion of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm resulting in the victim's death, the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to law enforcement agencies, Yakhyoev M.Sh., born in 2006, and Salimov M.R., born in 2002, were detained.
It was established that on June 1, 2026, at approximately 11:30 PM on Shirinsho Shotemur Street in Dushanbe, the suspects, motivated by hooliganism, got into a conflict with Yusupov A.I., born in 2004, a resident of the Ismoili Somoni district. During the argument, Yakhyoev M.Sh. stabbed Yusupov A.I. once in the chest. The victim was taken to the hospital but died from his wound.
In addition, police officers detained Karimov B.M., born in 1988, a resident of the village of Safedteppa in the Spitamensky district, on suspicion of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
According to the investigation, on June 1, 2026, at around 8:00 p.m., while intoxicated on the territory of the Holbek-Bobo field camp in the Spitamen district, he entered into a conflict with Iskandarov J.A., born in 1988.
During the ensuing argument, a fight broke out between the men, after which B.M. Karimov struck J.A. Iskandarov on the head with a glass liquor bottle, causing him serious bodily harm.
A preliminary investigation is being conducted into both incidents.
