On May 21, a bilateral meeting was held at the headquarters of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of Tajikistan between the agency's First Deputy Director, Rasouli Barot, and Alexander Fedolov, Acting Head of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Programme Office in Tajikistan. This was reported by the Agency's Press Center.
The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize themselves with the Agency's activities and strengthen cooperation in implementing joint activities within the framework of UNODC programs in Tajikistan.


During the talks, the parties discussed anti-corruption issues, preventative measures, and the role of international organizations in implementing state anti-corruption policies. Particular attention was paid to further developing cooperation within the framework of joint programs.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to further expand cooperation aimed at reducing the level of corruption and jointly combating corruption.
The Agency emphasized that the meeting was considered an important factor in strengthening mutually beneficial relations and further developing the partnership between the parties.
