Tajikistan is launching a pilot taxation project that, as noted, will not affect regular money transfers between citizens and will not restrict the use of e-wallets.
According to the project information , the tax rate for individual entrepreneurs will be reduced from 6% to 3%. Furthermore, tax calculation and reporting will be automated, which should simplify the process of interaction between entrepreneurs and the tax system.
It is also reported that registering a business will become easier, and cashback will be provided for cashless payments.
The project is being launched in test mode. In the future, the initiative is expected to contribute to the development of the country's digital payment system.
