TGEM continues to implement its project to build solar photovoltaic power plants in the Sughd region and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan. Construction of the second photovoltaic power plant, located in the village of Shurab in Isfara, Sughd region, is currently in its final stages.
The station consists of 4,752 bifacial photovoltaic panels located on a 4-hectare site, as well as 10 string inverters distributed across the photovoltaic zone arrays.

The project includes the installation of a complete 0.8/35 kV transformer substation with a built-in step-up substation with a total capacity of 4.5 MW and an energy storage system with a capacity of 500 kWh.
As noted, the photovoltaic station will be completely autonomous, equipped with a remote monitoring and control system, and will not require the constant presence of maintenance personnel.

The plant's capacity will be sufficient to supply electricity to up to 1,000 homes in the region. The project is expected to make a significant contribution to the country's energy independence and will be one of the first large-scale solar power plants of this scale in the Sughd region.
The project is currently 60% complete. 1,640 cubic meters of concrete foundations have been laid, approximately 204 tons of steel structures have been installed, and 3,740 photovoltaic panels have been installed.
The total volume of excavation work completed amounted to 56,000 cubic meters.
