In Dushanbe, police officers raided the campuses of the capital's higher education institutions and discovered seven cases of students arriving for classes in their personal vehicles. This was reported by the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department noted that, in accordance with current regulations and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan, students are strictly prohibited from arriving at classes in their personal vehicles. According to police, some students deliberately ignore this requirement for self-incrimination.
The raid was organized by employees of the Department for the Prevention of Juvenile and Youth Delinquency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dushanbe as part of an approved action plan.
During the investigation, Saidov Sunatullo, Yusufzoda Rakhmatullo, and Sadirzoda Saidmuhammad were identified as students of the Tajik National University; Yusupov Shahboz and Kurbonzoda Sunatullo were students of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University; Akhmadov Muhammadjon was a student of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; and Mirov Muhammad was a student of the Tajik State University of Commerce.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all of them violated established requirements by arriving for classes in their own vehicles.
Relevant materials have been prepared regarding these students and will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as to educational institutions, for action to be taken.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reminded that, according to current regulations, a student arriving for classes in a personal vehicle is subject to expulsion from the university for a period of three years without the right to reinstatement.
