The "Safe City" project is being implemented in Penjikent. The mayor signed a corresponding decree, as reported by the city's press service.

It is noted that the resolution was adopted in order to implement the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 19, 2025 No. 479.
The project is being implemented in collaboration with Net Solutions Limited Liability Company. It includes the installation of CCTV cameras, the creation of paid parking, the designation of no-stopping and no-parking zones, the implementation of an automatic traffic violation recording system, and the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.
