In the city of Kulyab, police officers identified and disrupted a group involved in organizing gambling. According to the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such offenses remain a priority for prevention and control.
According to the agency, police regularly conduct targeted raids and operational operations aimed at preventing and detecting illegal gambling activities. After receiving and verifying intelligence, it was established that such activities were being organized in the city.


Among those detained were five residents of Kulyab: Dilshod Dzhuraevich Gadoev (born in 1993), Bozorali Nekbakhti (born in 1992), Komron Khairulloevich Naimov (born in 1990), Khairullo Abdulloevich Mirzoev (born in 1989), and Davron Salimovich Astanakulov (born in 1987). According to law enforcement, they acted as part of a group and organized gambling.





It was established that the participants were gambling, which became the basis for their association. An unfinished building located in the Ismoili Somoni neighborhood was chosen as the venue for the games. A traditional card game was played there.
Police officers detained the group while they were playing. Administrative reports were filed against each of the detainees under Article 465 of the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses for participating in gambling.
