In January of this year, the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, conducted Operation Clean Air on the Dushanbe-Bokhtar highway. This was reported by the Committee's press service.
The operation is aimed at improving air quality and increasing the effectiveness of government activities in the field of environmental protection.






During the operation, administrative violation reports were drawn up against seven drivers who failed mandatory technical inspections of their vehicles and exceeded established standards for pollutant emissions into the atmosphere.
At the same time, as part of the operation, explanatory work was carried out with vehicle drivers on compliance with the norms and requirements of environmental legislation, as well as improvement regulations.
