As of January 1, 2026, in 2025, 380,992 business entities were operating in Tajikistan, which is 15,722 units or 4.3% more than in 2024.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Sulton, announced this at a press conference.
Of the total number of business entities, 344,872 are registered as individual entrepreneurs, which is 14,598 units or 4.4% more than in the same period in 2024.
In addition, 36,120 business entities are legal entities operating in the republic in 2025, which is 1,124 units or 3.2% more than in 2024.






According to the National Bank of Tajikistan, in 2025, financial and credit organizations provided loans to the economy totaling 29.99 billion somoni, which is 5.43 billion somoni, or 22.1%, more than the same period in 2024.
Of the total volume of loans issued by credit institutions during the reporting period, 14.36 billion somoni were directed towards entrepreneurial activities, which is 1.51 billion somoni, or 11.8%, more than the same period in 2024.
The volume of microloans issued during the reporting period amounted to 22.02 billion somoni, which is 4.19 billion somoni, or 23.5%, more than the same period last year.



In addition, the volume of loans issued to women during the reporting period amounted to 7.81 billion somoni, which is 1.62 billion somoni, or 26.2%, more than the same period in 2024.
In 2025, to improve entrepreneurial literacy, the Committee conducted over 900 different training sessions on tax and customs benefits, business registration, idea generation and implementation, preparation of presentation materials and their presentation to investors, business plan development, attracting investment, project presentations to investors, and other relevant business issues.
