In 2025, Khatlon Region produced industrial goods worth 13.9 billion somoni—1.9 billion somoni more than the previous year. The growth rate was 111.1%. This was announced by Davlatali Said, head of the region, at a press conference on February 11.
According to him, the growth was achieved due to an increase in the production and distribution of electricity by 108%, the manufacturing industry by 109.1%, the mining industry by 114.6%, and other industries by 111.4%.


The region's industrial structure remains primarily focused on processing. Manufacturing accounted for 55.3% of total production, the electricity sector for 38%, and mining for 6.1%.
Specific indicators include an increase in cement production to 3,086.4 thousand tons (115.5%), poultry meat to 3.1 thousand tons (108.3%), and urea to 40.8 thousand tons (127.2%). Cotton fiber production reached 91.2 thousand tons (122.5%), cotton seeds to 125.1 thousand tons (116%), and cotton yarn to 15.2 thousand tons (104.1%).
Over the course of the year, entrepreneurs launched 85 new enterprises, creating 2,710 jobs. The total number of industrial enterprises in the region reached 912.
