In 2025, Tajik courts heard 12,846 alimony cases, a representative of the Supreme Court's Statistics Department announced at a press conference.
According to him, in 14 cases, alimony was collected from wives in favor of spouses.
Additionally, in six cases, child support was ordered from grandparents for the benefit of their grandchildren, and in 35 cases, from children for the benefit of their parents. In the remaining cases, child support was ordered from fathers for the benefit of their children.
Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan Rustam Mirzozoda noted that 5,083 cases were also considered to review the amount of alimony downwards.
