The Tajikistan U-17 team has learned its opponents for the 2026 Asian Cup finals, which will be held from May 5 to 22 in Saudi Arabia, the FFT reports.
Following the tournament draw, the Tajikistan team was placed in Group A. Their opponents will be Thailand, Myanmar, and Saudi Arabia.
The Tajik team's group stage matches are scheduled for May 5 against Thailand, May 9 against Myanmar, and May 12 against Saudi Arabia.
A total of sixteen teams will participate in the 2026 AFC Asian Cup finals, divided into four groups: A, B, C, and D. Each group will contain four teams.
Based on the results of the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament. All quarterfinalists will automatically qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-21 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in November.
