On February 16, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, Minister of Economic Development and Trade, with the participation of a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, and development partners, as part of the "One Village, One Product" initiative. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.



It is noted that the "One Village – One Product" project is being implemented with the aim of strengthening entrepreneurship and ensuring sustainable economic development in the regions, and also contributes to the creation of new jobs, especially in remote rural areas.






Since the initiative's inception, the country has achieved a number of significant results, including the development of a roadmap identifying 100 priority product names, the establishment of a production center in the city of Bokhtar, the regular holding of national events, and active collaboration with more than 20 small businesses in 11 cities, employing over 100 people and producing over 100 types of products, including the development and release of 22 new products with the support of international experts.
