NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announced technical issues with the Orion spacecraft, which is heading to the Moon as part of the Artemis II mission, on April 2 at a press conference.
According to him, a brief communication problem was noted on board the spacecraft, but it has already been resolved. The crew continues to receive commands from mission control.
It was also reported that the spacecraft's toilet malfunctioned. Repairs will take some time.
Earlier, on April 2, the Orion spacecraft began the first manned flight to the Moon in 54 years as part of the Artemis II mission.
