In the Sughd region, measures are being taken to develop industry, efficiently utilize production capacity, create new enterprises, and increase production volumes. This was reported by the regional administration's press service.
During a working visit to the Bobojon Gafurov district, Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda inspected the installation of production equipment at a number of new industrial enterprises.
It is reported that, with the participation of the Farovon Group of Companies, several production facilities and plants have been built in the region and are being commissioned in stages. Specifically, the vegetable oil production facility, Iroda-Invest LLC, established in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, has a capacity of up to 200 tons per day. Using modern equipment, the facility produces and packages oil from sunflower seeds, cottonseeds, and other oilseeds.

The head of the region supported the entrepreneurs' initiatives and instructed those responsible to ensure high-quality completion of construction work and installation of equipment.
The Farovon Group of Companies is planning to implement new projects in wheat processing and pasta flour production. According to officials, the new facility will be able to process up to 600 tons of wheat per day and over 200,000 tons per year.
During his visit, the regional governor also reviewed the construction of the new Fatir Agro LLC plant. Once operational, the facility will be able to process up to 1,000 tons of wheat per day. The production equipment was imported from developed countries. Hundreds of new jobs are expected to be created once the plant is operational. Construction is currently 70% complete, and the facility is scheduled to open in time for the 35th anniversary of state independence.

Additionally, another industrial facility is under construction in the village of B. Gafurov with the participation of Zartakhta LLC. It is being created to supply the domestic market with construction materials and occupies an area of 5,000 square meters. The facility is equipped with modern equipment imported from China and will produce fiber cement boards with a capacity of 2,000–2,500 square meters per day.
It is noted that in the context of expanding construction and improvement work, the demand for such products is increasing.
Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda noted the contribution of entrepreneurs to industrial development and the implementation of the fourth national goal—accelerated industrialization of the country—and instructed those responsible to ensure the industry's further development through the effective use of existing opportunities.
It is emphasized that the implementation of these projects in the Bobojon Gafurov district will increase industrial production and raise the level of employment.
