In Tajikistan, the spring conscription plan for military service has been fulfilled by 54.3 percent, according to the Ministry of Defense's Information and Public Relations Department.
According to the agency, as in previous years, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region reported full compliance with its established plan on the first day of the conscription campaign.
Khatlon Region also ranked among the leaders compared to previous years. On the first day of the youth conscription, the cities of Bokhtar, Kulob, and Nurek, as well as the districts of Dusti, Yovon, and Vakhsh, fully met their spring conscription plan.
In addition, a number of districts of republican subordination reported on the fulfillment of the plan, including Rasht, Sangvor, Tajikabad, Lakhsh and Nurobod.
The Ministry of Defense notes that in those cities and districts where executive officials are paying special attention to this campaign and establishing close interaction with the population through outreach efforts, the level and quality of events for conscription and sending off citizens for compulsory military service remain high.
It is also emphasized that the active work of conscription commissions, particularly in terms of outreach, contributes to the annual increase in the number of young people voluntarily joining the National Army. This, in turn, ensures the timely and high-quality implementation of the conscription plan.
