Today, the National Library of Tajikistan hosted the opening of the third International Festival-Exhibition of Foreign Universities in the Republic of Tajikistan – 2026. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the opening of the festival-exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri noted that holding such an international event is evidence of the development of multifaceted cooperation in the fields of education and science.
It was emphasized that in a short time, the festival has become a unique international platform for dialogue, facilitating the formation of a new model for educational development, the expansion of scientific cooperation, and the exchange of best practices.



The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that, in the context of rapid globalization and modern challenges, the development of the integration of science and education, technology and innovation is of key importance, and it is through such platforms that the foundation for the sustainable development of society and the economy can be ensured.
Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahim Saidzoda noted that thanks to the wise policies of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the sphere of education and science is defined as a priority area of state policy, and favorable conditions are being created for the high-quality development of education and the training of competitive specialists.
It was noted that the festival serves as a platform for presenting educational opportunities, establishing direct links between universities, developing scientific and innovative cooperation, and also opens up broad opportunities for the implementation of joint programs, including double degrees, the creation of joint faculties, and the implementation of research projects.






It was also emphasized that the quality of the education system and its international recognition are key factors in representing a country on the global stage, and that qualified specialists are a guarantee of sustainable development for society.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps and higher education institutions spoke at the festival, praising the importance of this event for strengthening international cooperation and developing a unified higher education space.
Following the official part of the event, participants visited an exhibition of international universities at the Expo Dushanbe Center. Over 10,000 students from Dushanbe's public schools attended the exhibition, learning about educational opportunities, programs, and scholarship offers from universities around the world.





As part of the festival program, a conference on "Quality of Education and Adaptation to International Standards" was held in the afternoon at the National Library of Tajikistan. Representatives from foreign and domestic universities discussed important issues related to the development of higher education and international cooperation.
As a reminder, the third International Festival and Exhibition of Foreign Universities in the Republic of Tajikistan – 2026 is taking place from April 6 to 10 in Dushanbe, Khujand, and the Dangara district. It promotes international cooperation, attracts young people to high-quality education, and strengthens scientific ties.
