A Tajik delegation led by Minister of Health and Social Protection Jamoliddin Abdullozoda participated in the ninth meeting of health ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, which took place on April 20 in Bishkek. This was reported by the ministry's press center.
The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of the ministries of health of the SCO countries, as well as the Director of the Regional Office of the World Health Organization for Europe, Hans-Henry Kluge.

The meeting addressed a wide range of issues related to healthcare development, including improving public administration of the healthcare system and increasing the sustainability of national systems.
Participants focused on the industry's digital transformation, the implementation of modern information systems, the development of remote medicine, and expanding public access to medical services.
In their speech, representatives of the Tajik delegation noted the consistent implementation of healthcare reforms in the country, aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical care.
The importance of expanding healthcare infrastructure, modernising medical facilities and improving key public health indicators was also emphasised.
