The Confucius Institute at the National University of Tajikistan and the Dushanbe branch of the Moscow State University of Technology, the Institute of Steel and Alloys, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at creating conditions for foreign language learning, the Confucius Institute announced .
The agreement is being implemented in the context of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Majlisi Oli on the need to create conditions for the study of foreign languages.
The document envisages the development of a “specialty + Chinese language” model and is aimed at developing friendly relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.
The agreement also provides for the organization of exchange and effective cooperation in the fields of education and culture, as well as the promotion of Chinese language teaching in research and higher education institutions in Tajikistan.
The document sets out provisions for conducting educational programs on a non-commercial basis in strict compliance with the current legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
All educational and cultural activities carried out within the framework of the agreement are aimed at developing high-quality Chinese language education and nurturing youth in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
