A youth center will be built in the village of Ganchi in the Devashtich district as part of the 2026 "Year of Expanding Improvement and Creativity, Strengthening National Identity and Self-Awareness," which coincides with the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence, NIAT Khovar reports, citing the district chairman's press service.
The construction of the facility will be carried out by the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of domestic entrepreneurs and proactive citizens.
According to the design, the youth center building will consist of three floors. It will include office space, a conference room, a gym, and all the necessary facilities for working with young people.
The center's design meets modern requirements. Construction will be completed using high-quality domestic building materials and within the specified timeframe.
Following the opening of the youth center, young people in the Devashtich district will have ample opportunities to study foreign languages, master modern technologies, develop crafts, organize various clubs, and host cultural and educational events.
The project aims to create conditions for the comprehensive development of the younger generation and strengthen national identity through events commemorating Tajikistan's independence anniversary.
