Police in the Kubodiyon district uncovered a case of fortune-telling and witchcraft, according to the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the investigative operations, it was established that citizen Panji Ruzievich Khushmatov, nicknamed "Mullo Akhmad," born in 1950 and a resident of the village of Kubodiyon, was practicing fortune-telling and witchcraft in his home using books on magic and witchcraft. He made this his profession and turned it into a means of easy profit.

The agency noted that, despite constant warnings, there are people who trust such scammers and seek healing and solutions to their problems from them.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against Khushmatov under Article 482 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan and sent to court.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that trusting sorcerers and fortune tellers and seeking relief from life's problems through their help is a shameful and disgraceful act.
