The next political consultations between Tajikistan and Germany took place in Berlin under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Hamralizoda and the Commissioner of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany for Cooperation with Countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Niklas Wagner.
During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, investment, energy, scientific, educational and cultural spheres.
The interlocutors also discussed current regional and international issues, the two countries' interaction within international organizations, and strengthening cooperation in the areas of water resources, climate change, and glacier protection.
