The transfer window in Tajikistan opened on January 1 and will run until March 5. During this period, clubs can register new players, according to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The new season of the Tajikistan Premier League kicks off on March 6. Twelve clubs will participate in the 35th edition of the championship: Istiklol, CSKA (both from Dushanbe), Barkchi (Gissar), Regar-TadAZ, Sardor (both from Tursunzade), Vakhsh (Bokhtar), Ravshan (Kulyab), Khosilot (Farkhor), Khujand, Eskhata (both from Khujand), Istaravshan (Istaravshan), and Parvoz (Khujand International Airport).
Each team will play 22 matches in the 2026 Tajikistan Championship. The team that finishes last in the 2026 Tajikistan Premier League will be relegated to the First League, while the team that finishes eleventh in the championship will play a playoff match against the runner-up of the 2026 Tajikistan First League.
