Students at Boarding School No. 1 in Kulob received holiday gifts from the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
As part of the head of state's humanitarian policy, 150 children were given winter hats and clothing, trousers, suits, shoes, and sweets. The gifts were delivered by a working group of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The statement notes that support for orphans, children without parental care, the disabled, and low-income and needy families is a priority for the country's social policy. Citizens in these categories are under the constant care and attention of the President. Every year, on the eve of national and public holidays, the head of state provides financial assistance and presents gifts to the most vulnerable groups of the population.

In one of his speeches, President Emomali Rahmon emphasized: “I address orphans, children without care, the disabled, the elderly without support, and war veterans with disabilities and declare that I will never allow you to be humiliated and will never leave you alone.”
