On December 23, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Police Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Law Enforcement Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ahmadrezo Rodon, at the State Institution "Hotel Complex of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan." This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, specific aspects of bilateral cooperation in combating crime, maintaining law and order, and security were discussed. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation by leveraging existing opportunities for joint work.



The parties exchanged views on the development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the area of countering terrorism and extremism, as well as drug trafficking and transnational organized crime, including cybercrime.
The need for joint measures to effectively counter terrorism, extremism, radicalism and transnational organized crime, including cybercrime and drug trafficking, was emphasized.
In addition, an exchange of views took place on other issues of mutual interest to both parties, with the aim of further developing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
